Welcome to Carolines Dog Rescue, where every wagging tail tells a story of hope and love. For 14 years, we've been dedicated to rescuing dogs from Romania and finding them loving homes across the UK. This beautiful girl and her six little ones were rescued from a public shelter, and they’re all thriving now and some re-homed. Mum is loving and gentle, and her pups were playful, sweet, and full of personality. We’d love to find a loving home for Mum!

Indie

5/6 YEARS

Indie estimated to be around 5-6 years old, who is now in foster care in Wiltshire and searching for her forever home. Before arriving at the shelter in Romania, Indie was found living chained up, but thankfully a kind person stepped in, rescued her, and brought her to safety. Despite her difficult past, she has never lost her love for life. Now settled in the UK, Indie has shown what a wonderful companion she is. She is friendly, affectionate, and loves being around people, including children. She enjoys attention and is always happy to be part of family life. Indie is ready to enjoy all the adventures that come with having a home of her own. Indie would ideally like to be the only dog in the home, where she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. With her stunning scruffy coat, bright eyes, and joyful personality, she is a truly special girl who has so much love to give. Rolo is an absolutely stunning boy of around 2 years old who was rescued from a public shelter in Romania. He is now safe in private foster and waiting for the loving family he so deserves. Rolo is a beautiful, gentle soul who is soft, sweet-natured and ready to give his whole heart to the right people. Despite everything he has been through, he continues to trust people and has so much love to give. We don’t think he would have lasted much longer in the public shelter, starved, skeleton-thin, with ribs showing. He’s safe with us now, and eventually a forever home once he’s fitter and gained some weight. He’s the sweetest little lad, fantastic with people, super friendly with other dogs, and small in size, ready to steal your heart.

Joel

5 YEARS | LARGE

Joel is a stunning, big-hearted boy, estimated to be around 5 years old. He was found wandering the streets of Romania a year ago and is now living safely in a wonderful private foster home while he waits for his forever family. Joel is a gentle, affectionate soul who absolutely adores people. Despite only having three legs, it never slows him down - he runs, plays, and enjoys life just like any other dog. He is in great health, with recent blood tests confirming he is fit and well. He gets along well with other dogs and cats and could happily live with a small number of canine companions, although he would much rather be the centre of his humans' world. He can occasionally be a little bossy and appreciates having his own space, so he would suit a home that understands and respects his gentle boundaries. Joel also travels beautifully in the car and is a wonderful companion to have by your side. He is ready to travel to the UK for the right home and is simply waiting for someone to give him the love and security he deserves.

LouLou

LouLou is a sweet and gentle girl of around 1 year old who was once waiting in a public shelter in Romania. She has now been given a second chance and is safe in private foster. LouLou is a lovely, affectionate little soul who simply wants to be loved. This lovely little gentleman is in need of a forever home. He’s small in size, with little legs and a long body, absolutely adorable! He’s very people-friendly and amazing with other dogs, making him a wonderful companion. His sister, Cherry, arrived in the UK a couple of months ago and is doing amazingly well in her new home. Now we’re hoping this little man can be just as fortunate. Please let him be the next one to find his happy ending.

Klara

7 YEARS | LARGE

Klara is a lovely 7-year-old girl who arrived from Romania, she has been settling beautifully into foster care and is proving to be a calm, gentle and affectionate soul. Klara is house trained, clean and wonderfully well behaved. She absolutely adores people, is fantastic with children and travels really well in the car. She has also enjoyed her first groom since arriving and was as good as gold throughout. Klara is a strong, solidly built girl, but she is not boisterous or forceful. Because of her size, we are looking for a family with older children, simply to avoid any accidental knocks. She is relaxed and content in the home and loves being around people. On walks, Klara can be a little strong and keen when first setting off, but she quickly settles and then strolls beautifully. She is also good with cats. She can be a little food dominant, which is understandable given her background, and this is something that should continue to improve with a consistent routine and understanding. Klara is a loving and loyal girl who deserves a home where she can be cherished and loved every day. She is available for meet and greets in Bristol and is ready to find her forever family. Milly was found on the streets desperately trying to keep her puppy safe until Elena rescued them both and brought them to safety. Billy is a handsome young boy, around 7 months old, who is looking for a loving forever home. His life got off to a difficult start after he was found frightened and hiding beneath a car, suffering from babesiosis, a serious tick-borne disease. Thanks to urgent veterinary care and lots of love, Billy made a fantastic recovery and is now healthy, safe, and ready to begin the next chapter of his life. Despite everything he has been through, Billy has remained a sweet, gentle puppy with so much love to give.
