Welcome to Carolines Dog Rescue.
The rescue began with one very special dog. When Caroline rescued and adopted Murphy from a public shelter in Romania, she had no idea it would spark a life-changing journey. Seeing first hand the heart breaking conditions so many animals were facing, she knew she couldn’t stop at helping just one. Murphy’s rescue became the beginning of something much bigger — and the rest is history.
For over 14 years, Carolines Dog Rescue has been dedicated to saving dogs from challenging and often desperate situations in Romania, providing them with safety, veterinary care, rehabilitation, and most importantly the chance of a loving forever home in the UK.
We work closely with our trusted shelter in Bacau, Romania, and with our dedicated foster carers in the UK to ensure every animal in our care is treated with compassion, patience, and respect. From frightened strays to abandoned puppies and vulnerable seniors, each one deserves a second chance at happiness.
